Head Activity LeaderThe Family Ski
Company specialises in providing catered chalet holidays with a flexible programme of childcare, our aim being to enable every member of the family to have a wonderful experience in the mountains. Head Activity Leaders will lead and work in a team of 5 - 11 childcarers and are responsible for providing fun-filled and safe care for babies and children aged from 3 months to 12 years. Each resort has its own well-equipped crèche and Head Activity Leaders are expected to help design the weekly activity time table, manage bi-weekly team meetings, produce staff rotas and liaise directly with the parents. Minimum qualification / experience required: NNEB, BTEC or NVQ level 3 in Childcare, a Diploma in Nursery Nursing or equivalent UK qualifications, professional experience essential. Head Activity Leaders are expected to be approachable, responsible, caring and diplomatic, and also have proven organisational and people management skills. The Family Ski Company provides staff with an excellent employment package. This includes your food and accommodation, full season lift pass, ski or snowboard hire, uniform (including ski jacket), return transport from the UK to resort, medical and personal liability insurance. You will also receive a weekly wage, disclosed at the time of interview and an end of season discretionary bonus. All applicants must have a full UK National Insurance Number, UK bank account and hold an EC Passport.
